The defending champions outscored the Dragons three tries to one to edge home against some stubborn opposition to claim their second win on the bounce. With one round to go, the Ospreys sit proudly at the top of the points table.

Dragons fly half Elinor Snowsill opened the scoring with a well struck penalty before Charlie Murray quickly responded with a try.

The Dragons regained the lead through Leila Johns’s try before Ffion Bowen levelled the score in the 63rd minute. Both teams through the kitchen sink at each other and eventually the Dragons defence creaked just enough for replacement scrum half Sian Moore to dive over two minutes from time to secure a hard fought 15-10 victory for the Ospreys.

In another keenly contested clash, the Scarlets won their first match of the campaign by repelling the challenge of the Blues to come out on top 15-7.

Cente Elen Evans raced over in the sixth minute and with Jodie Evans adding the conversion, the Scarlets had the upper hand early on. With Evans adding a penalty in the 12th minute, things looked ominous for the Blues but they hit back through Elin Huxtable. Robyn Wilkins added the extras to bring the Blues right back into the game.

In a game which could have gone either way, Rhian McCulloch sealed the win for the Scarlets to secure their first scalp.
