The two sides clash at Morganstone Brewery Field (kick-off 7.10pm) with the Ravens vowing to entertain their home supporters in front of the Scrum V cameras.

“We got a tough win against Neath last time out. They were a difficult side with a tough forward pack and they stopped us playing, but we managed to grind out a win,” Silva said.

“We have got six points from our first two league games on the road and we are pretty happy with that to be honest ahead of returning to home comforts for the game with Swansea.

“Hopefully we can push on from that and get a win because there is a very good vibe around the place at the moment. We trained on Thursday night and had dinner together as a team afterwards.

“There is a good feeling around the club at the moment which we will look to harness.

“The game being on TV doesn’t really bring any pressure for us. It’s a positive thing and we are all really looking forward to it as a playing and coaching group.

“Our players are normal working lads at the end of the day so it’s a great opportunity for them. I think there are a few new haircuts and a bit of fake tan doing the rounds as a result!”

Silva has kept faith with the majority of the squad which has steered his team to a positive start to the current campaign.

The back three remains unchanged with Tyler Williams, Aaron Grabham and Will Holley selected.

Morgan Jones comes into midfield alongside captain Nathan Edwards. Jamie Murphy and Chris Williams line-up for the third consecutive week at half-back.

Dafi Davies makes his first start of the season at No 8 following injury in a back row with Tom Morgan and Adam O’Driscoll.

Shaun O’Rourke and Chris John pair up in the second row with Ollie Evans in the front row alongside Gareth Harvey and Cai Lewis.

“We will look to play from anywhere in attack because we have a young and exciting backline. I think anyone tuning into the game on Friday night will see plenty of entertainment,” Silva said.

“Swansea will try to stop us at source because they have a big forward pack. We don’t want that, we want to quicken the game up with two or three second rucks.

“We train on the same site at Llandarcy as Swansea, so we know them well. They need to win to kick-start their season and will come at us all guns blazing.

“They need the confidence and we will have to keep them at arms’ length. It will be a hell of a first half and the TV audience will be in for a real treat.”
