Now situated above the official WRU Store on Westgate Street replacing the WRU bar, the WRU ticket office will become the focal point for supporters on match-days, servicing ticket sales and enquiries.
The WRU’s customer service team has always been at the end of the phone and accessible online but, for the first time, a dedicated team will now be permanently front-of-house in new offices situated adjacent to the Millennium Stadium’s gate 3 on Westgate Street.
Fans can pick up tickets to see Wales take on Australia in the opening match of the Dove Men Series, in person from 9am tomorrow. Fans can also purchase print at home tickets online from wru.wales/tickets up until tomorrow morning.
Outside of matchday, the ticket office will be open from 9.30am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am until 4.00pm on a Sunday, when customer service personnel will be available to process ticket orders and deal with purchase queries for Millennium Stadium events.
Fans wishing to watch World Cup pool opponents Fiji can also do so by calling into Tesco stores throughout the country and purchase tickets from the customer service counters for just £20 for adults and £10 for concessions.
“We are proud to be able to offer a face-to-face customer service experience at our new permanent base above the WRU’s flagship merchandise store adjacent to the Millennium Stadium’s gate 3 on Westgate Street,” said the WRU’s head of sales and marketing Craig Maxwell.
“We take customer service extremely seriously and this new outlet will not only further enhance the matchday experience for those fans collecting tickets or buying on the day but, added to a variety of other initiatives, it will help ensure that a ticket to watch Welsh rugby internationals at the Millennium Stadium is one of the most accessible tickets in town.
“The matchday experience at the Millennium Stadium is already second to none and we are all looking forward to a successful autumn campaign starting with the visit of Australia tomorrow.
“We still have tickets available for that match and the other three games are in limited supply so fans have no reason to miss out on what could be an historic series for Wales as they build towards the World Cup.”
Tickets for the remaining Dove Men Series fixtures start at £20 for Fiji with £10 concessions, All Blacks tickets are in limited supply at £75 and for the Wales v South Africa fixture on November 29th tickets start at £40.
