The South African second-row has been a major part of the west Wales region’s resurgence to climb back into the play-off places.
A victory over Benetton Treviso will guarantee the Scarlets a top four finish but Snyman insists that is not enough and he is determined to go all the way.
“Treviso is without doubt the biggest game of the season for us now,” said Snyman.
“We are not expecting any favours from them and we know that if we lose we can throw away our entire season.
“We also know that if we do make the play-offs we will be the underdogs. But nobody’s goal here is just to get to the play-offs, we want to get to a final and win a final.”
The Scarlets have a four-point cushion over cross Loughor rivals the Ospreys – who face Leimster in Dublin in the final round.
And Snyman admits the Scarlets’ PRO12 destiny is in their own hands.
“It is ours to lose now and everybody is extremely excited about this stage of the season,” added Snyman.
“There are players coming back from injury like Rhys Priestland and everyone is really keen to play.”
The 26-year-old missed the opening weeks of the season following a contractual dispute with the Eastern Provine Kings.
But he has gone on to establish himself as one of the Scarlets most influential and consistent performers.
“I didn’t think I would play as much, but I have really enjoyed it,” he added. “Myself and my wife have settled in really well in Llanelli and the fans have been fantastic here.
“It makes an unbelievable difference when you run out and the stands are full like they were against Cardiff and hopefully we will have another big crowd against Treviso.
“We are going back to South Africa for a break after the season finishes, but I am not planning on going home for a few weeks yet. I want to go to the final.”
