Martin Drops Down To Italy A Team
Northampton Saints wing Luca Martin, who played in the opening Lloyds TSB Six Nations match against France and was an Italian replacement against Scotland, drops down to the Italy A squad to meet Wales A at St Helen’s, Swansea on Friday, 1 March (kick-off 7.05pm).
With a fitness doubt over L’Aquila wing Hernan Cagnolo, Martin is lined up to play if he drops out. Otherwise Martin will be on the bench.
The Italians have performed well this season in the Six Nations A Championship and were unlucky to lose out to Scotland with a last minute try and conversion in their last outing.
