I Was There! Warren Davies

Thanks to my Old Man, I have been to every Wales v England match since 1991 (with the notable exception of 1993), as well as Wales v New Zealand, Australia, Western Samoa etc etc… and for those nine years, I had never once been to a match that Wales had won!… until… 1999… heeheehee! I was so desparate for a ticket that I got one on the other side of Wembley to my Old Man, and found myself sitting with a load of English fans….. and one Welshman with his English wife. Needless to say, come the end of the match, I was a little vocal and the Taff in front of me with the English missus was laughing while she leant on his shoulder crying! What a wonderful day!
