However, they will certainly have their work cut out against two sides that have already enjoyed success this week.
The Scarlets under 16s, who kicked off their season with successive defeats at the hands of the Ospreys and Blues North, picked up a first win of the campaign, over the Dragons on home soil, while a Jordan Williams inspired under 18s side were 26-20 winners over the Dragons, at Newbridge.
The RGC under 16s are hoping to bounce back from the obvious heart-break of conceding the winning score against Blues South with the very last play of last weekend’s game at Rydal School.
Late fitness tests will be given to a number of players injured in that game, but confidence is growing and the region are looking forward to another decent showing.
The under 18s come up against an unbeaten Scarlets side that shows a number of changes from the team that won at the Welfare Ground in midweek. Amongst those players rested is the aforementioned Williams who has already amassed 57 points in three games this season.
RGC, who are yet to win a game this term, travel to the competition favourites on the back of their best performance of the campaign so far, against the Dragons.
“If they show the same desire and application that they demonstrated against the Dragons, they have nothing to fear against a Scarlets side that will have in it’s line-up three North Walians of their own,” said team manager Will Morecombe.
