Jones hoping for packed Stadium

Ryan Jones has urged Welsh supporters to pack out the Millennium Stadium on Saturday as Wales continue their preparations for the World Cup with a home tie against England.

Wales return home for the second of the back-to-back games against England this weekend and Jones believes the clash will be of the highest quality as the side look to build on an encouraging first outing.

“The courage and performance at Twickenham was exactly what is needed at test level and we will take the positives from that game and build on it when we face England again on Saturday,” he said.

“I love playing for Wales and it was great to have an involvement last weekend.

“There is huge pressure every time you put on a Welsh jersey and it is always raised when you are at home.

“And it will be great to have a packed Welsh crowd to welcome England this weekend.”

A record attendance for a summer test in Wales is already guaranteed with over 66,000 tickets already sold for the game.

And Jones is hoping Welsh fans will snap up the few remaining tickets to get behind the team and give them a big send off ahead of the World Cup.

“There is nowhere greater to play than a packed Millennium Stadium and it will be great to have everyone right behind the team this weekend and give us a good send off to the World Cup.”

Tickets are still available to watch the game priced at £30 for adults and £15 for children and can be purchased at www.wru.co.uk/tickets or by calling the ticket hotlines 08442 777 888 or 02920 230130.
