Joe Xiberras returns to the backs after missing the swimming at Treorchy, replacing Harry Appleton in the centre. In the pack Dan Richards, another youth team product, takes a place in the second row with Ed Morris who gets his first start.

Second row Alex Luff makes a welcome return to the squad after a long layoff after suffering a knee injury against Swansea last season.

“We must build on our positives and reduce the mistakes. Despite our league position we cannot fault the squad’s attitude and effort,” commented head coach Chris Ower.

“It’s been a long time since Mountain Ash visited the Wanderers and we know we will need to be at our best to break our losing streak,” added manager Gavin Walker.
