PONTY WARY OF REVITALISED CARDIFF

PONTY WARY OF REVITALISED CARDIFF

“Cardiff have done extremely well to turn their season around in recent weeks at an important time of the season,” he said.

“On current form, I would say this is going to be a great regional semi-final with a lot of players looking to become part of the Blues set-up.

“We are happy with the way we have been able to rotate the squad recently so that all the players are in with a shout of being picked for Friday night’s game.

“A few players carrying niggling injuries such as Dafydd Lockyear and Tom Riley have been able to rest and recuperate to give us almost a full squad to select from.

“We are also lucky that Dale McIntosh is available – he was important to us last year in the semi-final and unfortunately missed the final so hopefully he will get a chance to put that right this time around.”
