UWIC LADIES HEAD FOR TWICKENHAM
The Cardiff-based side have reached the final 5 years out of the last six, coming away with victories in 2002 and 2003. The current UWIC side beat University College, Chichester (0-41), Bath (71-5) and Loughborough (15-5) on their road to Twickenham, putting in some outstanding performances that prove their standing as one of the strongest University sides in the UK.
With 6 International Caps in the line-up, and a further 4 players involved at Development/A level, UWIC go into the clash fielding a calibre side that should put up a real fight to bring the trophy back to Wales.
