Meanwhile, the title race continued after first-placed Denbigh won 78-7 against Llanidloes and second-placed Colwyn Bay, two points behind the leaders, recorded a 25-12 success at Bro Ffestiniog.

With Resolven’s match at Neath Athletic postponed, Aberavon Green Stars took full advantage to move to the top of South West with a 52-13 win at Porthcawl.

The Stars lead Resolven by two points but they have played two more games. Tonna may yet have a say in the title race after their 44-6 win at Cwmgwrach.

Cardiff-based St Albans defeat RTB (Ebbw Vale) 47-24 to record their fifth successive victory in East. In the only other game in this division, Nantyglo won 24-10 against visitors Oakdale.

Llantwit Major shocked Llandaff North by winning 36-27 in Cardiff. The victory lifts the Vale side into second place behind champions Llandaff. Wales Under-19 centre Dafydd Hewitt led the way with a brace of tries and bottom club Canton were trounced 37-0 at Ferndale.
