While Nantyglo head the East with four wins from as many matches after having their match at Garndiffaith called off due to an injury to the referee, it is Bettws in sixth position who are still unbeaten with two wins and two draws following their 17-12 victory over Machen. Bala continued their good form by halting Machynlleth 26-16 in the North where Bangor gained their first point in a 19-19 draw with new boys Rhayader.

Aberaeron and Penygroes are both on 15 points in the West, but Penygroes are unbeaten after handing New Dock Stars a 32-20 defeat and Pembroke won their fourth match in style by 62-5 at St David’s.

There are no unbeaten clubs in the South-East as Porth and Cilfynydd set the pace with South Wales Police producing a narrow win at Ogmore Vale and in the South-West Crynant and Abercrave both won again and Birchgrove suffered their first loss, going down 16-8 at Glyncorrwg.
