Narberth scrum half Adrian Killa raced away for a try-hatrick, included the match-winner as Narberth roared into second spot in Division One and boosted the Otters try-count to 37 in eight games.
While Narberth were beating a good Beddau side by 24-13, leaders Maesteg were hanging on to defeat Fleur de Lys by 16-3 with wing Matthew Jeffries scoring the only try of the match, but Whitland pulled off a splendid 21-16 win at UWIC to move to third spot.
Glamorgan Wanderers have had a mean defence this season, but their attack also fired as they won 31-20 at Carmarthen Athletic with tries by Lee Mullane, Felice Coetzee and Huw Williams, though Carmarthen ran in tries by Chris Harries, Mark Williams and Gareth Jones.
Stuart Morris was the Caerphilly match-winner in midweek, but he led his Bridgend Athletic side to defeat Blackwoode 17-14 with four penalties, including the last-minute winner to add to a Hywel Davies try.
Former Wales full back Daril Williams returned to help Bonymaen to a basement win at Brynmawr and dropped a goal in the 33-15 scoreline, while Silesi Havili, younger brother of Scarlets’ Aisea, scored two tries as Tonmawr beat Builth Wells 34-10.
