Newport came back from 5-13 down at Rodney Parade to score three converted secondhalf tries and defeat Cross Keys 26-13.
 
Top dogs Neath raced clear of Pontypridd to win 42-3 at the Gnoll, though Ponty have not scored a try in their last three outings and scrum half Carl Thomas was sent off after 37 minutes for stamping.
 
Aberavon hung on to beat Ebbw Vale 27-25 after six successive losses. Hooker Chris Wells scored  a try and saved his side when he charged down a drop shot by Jason Williams in injurytime.
 
Llanelli ran riot to beat Pontypool 58-12 at Stradey Park; Caerhilly had a marvellous 47-31 win over Swansea at Virginia Park, with 13 tries resulting in a free-flowing match and Llandovery just scraped through 19-12 at Newbridge as former Wales Under-21 wing Ifan Evans gained the only Drovers try.
 
Carmarthen Quins were 0-6 down at home to a battling Llanharan, but came back with three converted tries to win 21-6.

Wednesday, March 6 will now see seven matches taking place, including the visit of leaders Neath to a very in-form Caerphilly, while the SwanseaCardiff battle at St Helen’s will be televised live. Llanharan will be battling for relegation points at home to Aberavon and Cross Keys return to Pandy Park ato take on Bedwas.
 
Bottom club Newbridge facing a daunting task at home to Carmarthen Quins; high-riding Newport will be at Rodney Parade against fellow Gwent club Ebbw Vale and Pontypridd are at Sardis Road against Llanelli. On Saturday, March 12 there will a 2.30pm rearranged game as Bridgend take on  Llandovery at the Brewery Field.
