Hello from somewhere in Saudi, please get the lads to sort their lives out its depressing enough to be here without news of a defeat by Italy and the old enemy. I wont be able to live with the jocks on the sqn if we lose again!
Dave Meade mailed to say:
Hi
I’m a Proud Welshman who’s been exiled to Scotland. I’m going to Edinburgh on 8/3/03 to watch our boys (hopefully) beat the Scots. After last years defeat we better win this time. I don’t think I could take another year of stick from all these Scots lads. So COME ON LADS!
Warren Davies
Currently living in Brno, the second city of the Czech Republic. No bar here shows any of the rugby. I managed to make it home for the Wales
v England match this year. As a last note, I think it is important that everyone supports the plans that have been proposed recently to improve the Welsh game. I say this as a fervent Scarlets fan, and know it is difficult to make a decision without taking into account the emotion attatched, but I believe in two years time, Wales can be pushing at the doors of success once again.

It’s got to be said , you’ve really sunk us as low as we can get. Rugby in this country is dead as long as the soccer team continues to market it’s success and you lot continue to live off the backs of people’s memories. You’ve got to wake up to the fact that people will not waste good money to see an inferior product. The public want players who are prepared to give everything to the cause and expect little monetary reward , the reward should be the honour of wearing the Three Feathers.
We want to see less committee men and more coaches and development officers. Why we need such a large body to oversee the game is beyond me.
Let’s see what a board of 5 could do.
As you may of gathered I’m more than angry with you lot. I’m a coach of a club Under 13 team, Chair of a school district , a season ticket holder to a premier club and a games teacher. I’m also the father of a very
talented young player. At this moment I’m wondering whether my commitment to rugby as been a waste of 30 years. I’m also seriously thinking of giving up my ticket for Saturdays game.
Will things change, I don’t think so not until we get the reforms we want i.e. the WRU runs the game below the top level and a fully accountable professional board runs the professional game. Until that happens
we’ll just keep on slipping down the ladder until we will have difficulties beating Spain’s 3rd team!
