Going into last weekend’s round of action, Ebbw Vale’s Dan Haymond led the way and looked odds-on favourite to be the first player to reach the magical 100-mark but a 14-point haul by McBrdye in his side’s 24-5 victory at Bridgend saw him claim the honours. McBryde’s three conversions, try and penalty proved a timely boost as RGC recorded just their second win away from home, of the season.

Haymond’s five points in his side’s narrow defeat to Swansea leave him just two points shy of the 100-mark with Aled Thomas (63), Matt O’Brien (62) and Jack Maynard (61) still some distance behind.

Carmarthen Quins’ hooker Torin Myhill has joined Ebbw Vale’s Ewan Rosser and RGC’s Rhys Tudor as the leading try-scorer in the Premiership. In last weekend’s televised match Myhill’s effort assisted the Quins in moving to second place in the points table with a 29-34 victory at the Talbot Ground.

Swansea’s Callum Bowden has made 94 tackles in the Premiership with an impressive 90% completion rate. Pontypridd’s Kristian Parker (86) and Newport’s Josh Skinner (79) are his nearerst challengers, but both possess a slightly higher completion rate with 91%.

Cardiff’s Morgan Allen leads the won with turnovers, having snaffled 16 so far with Pontypridd second row Sean Moore hot on his heels with 13. Allen is also proving a major force in attack with 110 carries next to his name. Ebbw Vale’s Daniel Hill (96) is next in line.

No-one has made more clear line-breaks than RGC’s Efan Jones (8) but Aberavon’s Chay Smith is close behind with seven.
