Llandaff North U-16’s took part in the “Race for life ” on Wednesday July 9th to raise money for Cancer Research UK. 23 ran in the 5 kilometre race, including coach Nikki Lewis and parent Bernadette Wilkinson. The team collectively raised well over a £1000. A special mention to Hayley Dixon who raised over £250 and Hayley Feehan who raised £200.
The Team was organised and entered by Nikki who ran in the memory if her best mate.
The WWRU would also like to thank the following people for volunteering to help as marshals for the race: Holly Probert, Bethan Benney, Nicola Benney and Beddau Under 16s girls.
