Unbeaten clubs – Blackwood, Llanharan, Maesteg and Brynmawr.
While Blackwood and Llanharan are from last season’s Division One, while Maesteg and Brynmawr were promoted in the summer, yet it is the former pair who are the surprises of the division.
Blackwood’s new guns outfired a speedy UWIC team before retreating to their new clubhouse just behind the goalposts and Llanharan, only recent openers of a new club on the Dairy Field side of the main road, were excellent winners at Llangennech.
Both the match at Llangennech and the one at Carmarthen, where the Athletic heavily defeated Tondu, were late kick-offs due to a bad accident on the M4 going west that involved a horsebox.
Congratulations to Treorchy, who recorded their first win, at the expense of Tredegar, at the Oval.
