The squad leave for Australia on Sunday evening from Heathrow airport, but first that afternoon (1.00pm) the 30-man squad will train at the South Wales Police rugby ground Waterton Cross, Bridgend, in a session which is entirely open to the public.
“We are aware that Australia is a long way away and that means a lot of fans won’t be able to make the trip,” said Wales coach Steve Hansen.
“This training session is a chance for those fans to see the squad for one last time and give them the send off they deserve before we go off to represent the nation’s national sport on the World stage.
“I hope fans will turn up to show their support for the squad and, indeed, continue to send messages of support through the WRU website when we are over there.
“There is no doubt that knowing the country is behind us will help the boys in the heat of the battle – as we are all in this together.”
