The Newport fly half has yet to miss a shot at goal with an impressive 100 per cent success rate after two games. In the Black & Ambers game against Aberavon the young pivot’s accuracy proved crucial as he slotted three penalties and three conversions in his sides tense 30-25 victory at Talbot Athletic Ground.
Reed’s personal haul of 15 points took him to 25 points, edging out Pontypridd’s Diggy Bird by two points. Bird’s 89% success rate is just one per cent better than Aberavon’s Chris Banfield who is third on the charts with 16 points.
