The match will be a precursor to final squad announcement which will be made on Friday, when Wales begin their international campaign starting with a warm up game against the Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on February 15th before taking on Scotland 16th March 2012 in Glasgow.
The U18 team will then travel to Madrid in late March in order take part in the U18 FIRA-AER European championship.
The U18 management team are particularly looking forward to seeing the players step up in this match and showcase their skills and abilities,
U18 team manager Gethin Watts expects many to put their hands up for selection, “We have been able to assess these players over a number of months with the regional age grade programme being the main focus but also during two recent U18 national camps.
“These camps have really allowed us to get to know the players which will aid selection immensely, however the East v West games let us see some interesting combinations and match ups.”
