Included on the Llanelli bench after impressing pre-season and for their clubs in the SWALEC leagues are Waunarlwydd’s Nathan Hart (back row), Llangennech’s Rhys Lane (scrum half) and the Bonymaen flyer Nathan Brooks.

Llanelli Head of Rugby, Anthony Buchanan said: “In last season’s corresponding fixture, Aberavon ran in seven tries to our four and I’m sure their passionate home fans will want the same on Wednesday night.

“We will be out to reverse that score and we know that won’t come unless the hard graft is done.We are creating a lot of opportunities to score but we must show more patience and composure. I’m anticipating our hardest game to date despite Aberavon’s jittery start to the season.”
