Dragons secure Amos future

Newport Gwent Dragons have confirmed that rising star Hallam Amos has signed a three-year deal with the region

Despite speculation that his studies would take him away from the region, the Dragons have worked with Amos to ensure that he will be able to continue to play a key role in the future of Dragons rugby alongside his medical studies.

Amos was briefly the youngest regional player to hit the field when he made his debut against Wasps in the LV= Cup last season, until teammate Jack Dixon came on as a replacement and is still the youngest player in a regional starting line-up.

“We are delighted to have been able to make this happen,” said Dragons Director of Rugby Robert Beale. “We have worked over previous years to take young players with potential and develop them and Hallam has high hopes of following in the footsteps of Dan Lydiate and Toby Faletau.”

“Hallam is a talented player with a great work ethic and we are confident that he is a player to watch.”
