The home side had far too much for their opponents behind the scrum as they ran out 55-13 winners, Bridgend managing a second-half score in consolation.
Jack Powell scored a first-half brace with Ospreys academy winger Dafydd Howells and hooker Joe Davies adding further scores as the home side led 27-6 at the interval. And it was a lead they never looked like letting slip as they added four further scores in the second period.
Full-back Lewis Evans continued his side’s momentum with a score shortly after half-time before fly-half Luke Price went over.
Winger Ryan Fussel responded for Bridgend but further scores from Shawn Howard and Jack Anderson secured what was ultimately an easy win.
At Vardre, a late drop goal from Sam Evans secured a narrow 23-21 win for Gower College over Coleg Gwent. Despite going into an early 6-0 lead, Coleg Gwent slipped to defeat and remain without a win so far this season.
Two Scott Turner penalties gave Gwent a lead before opposite number Sam Evans levelled things up. A converted try from flanker Adam Williams gave Gower a 13-6 lead though Turner narrowed the gap to four points with a penalty before half-time.
And Gwent took this momentum into the second-half, Alex Phipps crossing to put his side back into the lead.
It did not last long though as a converted score from centre Tom Evans gave Gower a 20-14 lead. In a see-saw game, Kaan Keen’s score got Gwent back into it and when Turner converted they led by a single point.
But they were denied their first win of the season by Evans, the fly-half slotting over a drop goal to break Gwent hearts.
In the remaining games, Llandovery College were beaten for the first time this season by Coleg Sir Gar. In an entertaining game, both sides had chances to win the game but Sir Gar ran out narrow 28-24 winners.
Coleg Morgannwg were again easy winners, this time cantering to a 49-7 win over Pembrokeshire College.
