Despite intermittent heavy showers that threatened to end the session, Appleyard battled on delivering an interesting and compelling session of skills and drills.

More than 35 coaches braved the elements along with 24 members of Usk 1st XV and 10 players from the Dragon’s academy.

The session hit several regional targets with the engagement of coaches from all around the region, a club development session for Usk RFC 1st VX and further skill development work for our Academy players.

The session formed part of a series of development sessions which are run by our Dragons coaching staff, the next one is scheduled for January.
