Cwmafan celebrate 150 years with special fixture

Glamorgan County will help Cwmafan RFC celebrate their 150th anniversary by playing a special fixture against them at the Welfare Ground on Sunday, 20 November (kick-off 1.30pm).

Admiral Championship club Maesteg Quins provide five players to the Conty side, including skipper and tight head prop Dean Ronan. He will have his brother, Jay, for company in the front row. 

Cwmafan, who are currently seventh in Admiral Division 3 West Central, are led this season by back row man Elliot Price. The big match will be preceded by a curtain raiser between Cwmafan U15 and Maesteg Celtic U15 in the Ospreys Cup (11.30am kick-off).
