The former Carmarthen Quins, Swansea, Aberavon and Llandovery outside half learned his rugby at Birchgrove Comprehensive School before following his father, brother and two uncles into the Vardre team.
Now back at Vardre, he is one of four players from that club in the team heading to the Welsh capital for the first final since the WRU Districts Cup was restored this season.
Mid District included six players from Wattstown for a repeat of one of their earlier round matches which ended in a 21-21 draw at Penyrgraig. This time the game will have to be played to a conclusion to fid a winner.
