Connacht are one of only three visiting teams to win a game at Stradey Park since regional rugby was introduced when they triumphed 14-12 in the quarter-final of last season’s Celtic Cup. Connacht have in fact never lost at Stradey Park because on their other visit in the Celtic League in March they drew 33-all.
