Wing Iwan Griffith’s hat-trick inspired Welsh Premiership leaders Pontypridd to victory 66-28 over Llangennech in a 14-try contest at Sardis Road.

Dafydd Thomas and Cole Swannack both scored twice with Sam Cross, Daniel Phillips, Tom Hughes, Rhys Lewis, Dafydd Land, Ryan Hughes and Jacob Lloyd also among the scorers. Ben Jones kicked nine conversions.

Bargoed ran out 36-5 victors at Narberth – courtesy of a Charlie Williams double and tries from Tom Bainton, Jordan Howells, Kieron Brown and Louis Jones. Josh Prosser converted three of them.

Hooker Nathan Huish’s two tries, along with scores from captain Corey Nicholls and Sam Llewellyn, guided Cross Keys to victory 30-20 at Brecon. Rhys Jones kicked two conversions and two penalties.

Ystrad Rhondda returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 22-15 victory at Bonymaen. Josh Williams, Cavan Davies and Rhys Dauncey were the Ystrad try scorers, with two conversions and a penalty from Rhys Truelove.
