Bryant moves to Blues
The hard-hitting centre heads to the Arms Park after failing to secure regular rugby under Chris Anderson at Rodney Parade following his move from the Celtic Warriors last summer.
Bryant, 28, is available for the weekend game against Leinster but will not be allowed to play in the Celtic League match against Dragons on 27 December.
“This is a real shot in the arm, it’s been a bit of a barren spell for me at the Dragons so I can’t wait to get into the action,” said Bryant.
“Looking around the (Blues) squad in training brought home the potential here and I desperately want to be part of it. There’s talent oozing everywhere.”
Bryant will be joined at Cardiff by Richard Webster who will share forward coaching duties with David Young.
The former Wales and British Lions flanker is latest addition amid a back-room recruitment drive at the Blues which has already seen Neil Jenkins join as kicking coach.
Young said: “He’s pretty abrasive, he’ll certainly get the players pointing in the right direction. They’ll know exactly what he wants from them.”
