LLANDAFF NORTH DEFEAT TYCROES
Tycroes were first to get on the scorecard through a run down the blindside from centre Becky Stroud to score in the corner.
Llandaff North retaliated quickly and opened their scoring with winger Abby King crossing for the first of her hatrick. Playing with the wind in the first half an under strength Tycroes used the conditions well to keep Llandaff North in their own half for large parts of the first half. Tycroes increased their score to 12 with a chip and chase try from their fly half which was converted by their scrum half.
Llandaff North started to find their rhythm after 20 mins and dominated the game from then on, moving the ball from touch line to touch line creating spaces for the backs to exploit. Jess Kidley, Stacy Hardy, Sarah Vivian and Vikki Gaylard all crossing the line twice with the latter having a particularly eye catching game. Fly Half Paula Mullen contributed 25 points with 10 conversions and 1 try. Final Score Llandaff North 80, Tycroes 12.
