Last season saw the launch of an exciting community initiative to help reward efforts in grassroots rugby – SWALEC Junior Stars. For the 2010/11 season, the competition was launched via media partnerships with Mediawales and Real Radio. Nominations were invited from clubs, schools, parents and other supporters to identify Under 13, 14 or 15 rugby teams throughout Wales who deserved the chance to take part in this ‘once in a lifetime’ event.
