WALES IN NZ: Ian Gough issues warning
Wales and Ospreys lock Ian Gough has warned his Welsh teammates there is no such thing as a weak All Blacks side.
But he said the Wales players are confident and prepared to front-up to the tough task ahead of them in the forthcoming two-Test tour of New Zealand.
Gough said: “It has been drummed into us that we want to do well against this side. We’ve got to bridge the gap that exists between Wales and New Zealand and the only way we can do that is by doing well.
“The results of the past are definitely a monkey on the back of Wales and it would be so nice to get rid of that. It’s tough because there is no such thing as a weak All Black side so Wales will have to be at their best.”
