In a bid to reverse Welsh Six Nations opening day fortunes- Wales have not recorded an opening day victory since 1998. Henry arranged for a special training camp in order to select his final squad for the up coming tournament.

Speaking earlier today, Henry said.

“Its been great to get all the players together so early this year. These last four days has been really good for teambuilding. We’ve all had a chance to train and work together and that’s going to be invaluable when we face Ireland next month

Wales’ first Six Nations game on February 2nd , is a trip to the hotbed that is Lansdowne road, to face an Irish side who will be keen to pick up where they left off last year. A famous victory over England denied Woodward’s men the Grand slam.
