Wales And England To Meet In Irb World Sevens Series At The Millennium Stadium.
Wales have been drawn in the same Pool as England, France and Russia in the final round of the IRB World Sevens Series at the Millennium Stadium on Friday, May 31 with the final rounds being also played at the Stadium on the following day – Saturday, June 1.
There will be 24 matches on the first day, beginning with New Zealand, winners of last season, meeting the Sevens originators, Scotland, at 12.10pm. That will be match number 1 and the 24th and final match will be the eagerly-awaited Wales-England clash at 9.00pm – some 530 minutes later.
Wales will by then have met Russia at 2.44pm and then France at 5.44pm.
The second day’s play begins at 10.15am and will feature another 20 matches with quarter-finals, semi-fnals and finals of both the Cup and the Bowl and also the semi-finals and finals of the Shield and the Plate.
The last match, at 6.00pm, will be the final of the Cup.

Pool D – Fiji, Australia, Canada, Portugal.
