Moore Secures Bridgend Move

Andy Moore has sealed a move from Swansea to Bridgend in a summer switch.
The 28-year-old lock forward took the plunge after negotiations with his former employers broke down.

Moore, who admits to suffering a disappointing last 12 months at the All Whites, says he is relishing the new challenge.

“This is a fresh start for me which is just what I need,” he said.
“A change is as good as a rest sometimes. Now I have made the decision I am excited.” Moore turned down offers from some of England’s leading clubs to remain in Wales.

He is not the first person to have left the All Whites in recent months. Wales flanker Geraint Lewis has returned to Principality Cup winners Pontypridd, while Moore’s Tongan teammate Sililo Martens has also transferred his talents to the Brewery Field.
