With Pontypridd v UWIC and Swansea v North Wales being postponed, all eyes were on Llanelli who faced Newport at Stradey Park. A strong home side ran out convincing winners 41-5 resulting in the Scarlets returning to the top of the table.

The U16’s had a break from club rugby as regional rugby made its debut. South West Wales beat West Wales 25-0 at Neath Athletic with Morriston winger Hayley Miller proving to be a handful in an hard fought encounter.

East Wales defeated Central Wales 37-0 at St Josephs with Cwmbran hooker Branwen Scrivens leading the way with a hat trick.

Super League fixtures return on November 10th with the highlight being Llanelli v UWIC whilst the second round of regional rugby for the under 16’s is on November 24th. More details to follow.
