Both games were played in an excellent manner with the star of the weekend being 13 year old Nicola Stevenson from Bridgend Athletic who crossed for a first half hat trick for the South West side.
In the Super League North Wales beat Llanelli 24-17 at Mold and Pontypridd defeated a young Swansea side 42-5 as the home side saved their best for their first game of the season on the hallowed Sardis Road pitch!
