A natural leader, Johnson has lead his club side Leicester Tigers to two Heineken Cup victories, and four English championships.
He has skippered his country 27-times, and is the only man to have captained the British and Irish Lions on separate tours, (1997,2001).
Johnson is a great ball carrier, but infrequent try scorer, touching down just twice in his 71 Tests.
