Gareth Thomas is the only survivor from the Wales starting line-up that played in Ireland at the weekend in the 22 man squad selected by Wales coach Steve Hansen for Saturday’s second World Cup warm-up match against England at the Millennium Stadium.

Gethin Jenkins, who came on as a replacement for Ben Evans, is the only other player involved in Dublin who will feature in the game against England.

There are two uncapped players in the squad – the team will be announced at 1.00pm on Wednesday – in Llanelli Scarlets scrum half Mike Phillips and Neath-Swansea Ospreys prop Adam Jones, but the rest of the party is full of experience.
