The goal-kicking full-back hasn’t played since he broke his hand in a Celtic League match against Leinster at the end of November.
The Ospreys will need all the help they can get for the trip to the Stade Ernest Wallon in the south of France.
Lyn Jones’ side are winless in Pool 2 and face back-to-back games against the defending Heineken Cup champions.
‘In the past we have been guilty of being pessimistic when going to play anywhere in France,’ Jones said.
‘This season we are more optimistic, we feel we are just a short distance from turning the corner and becoming a winning side.
‘We are looking forward to the challenge of playing the European champions.’
Jones has named his starting backline but will delay finalising his starting pack because of late fitness tests.
