The playing of the final Konica Minolta Round Four Cup match between Ynysddu and Swansea means that the Pontypridd-Swansea match is off and Newport’s game against Llanelli will play at Rodney Parade on Tuesday, while Pontypool entertain Cardiff at 5.30pm on Saturday night.

Cross Keys hope that Pandy Park recovers from heavy rain to meet Aberavon and Neath have another chance to grab the leadership if they win at Newbridge. Contrary to some reports, Caerphilly’s match against Llandovery will be played at Church Bank and not VirginiavPark.

That leaves the interesting matches with Bridgend visting Ebbw Vale, who have signed up Lenny Woodard (Aberavon) and Mike Wilson (Caerphilly), and Carmarthen Quins come east to take on the useful Bedwas side.
