In Three East, leaders Brynithel fell badly away to Newport Saracens, while there were more surprises in Three West as Kidwelly lost 17-16 home to Gorseinon and Pontarddulais beat Tenby 15-3.

Most other scores went with the form book, though Garndiffaith had a good 38-10 win over RTB (Ebbw Vale) in Five East, where St Alban’s had a brave effort end in a 24-20 loss to Nantyglo at Tremorfa Park.
