The well-travelled scrum-half will hang up his boots 17 years after making his debut for Cardiff.

Moore steps in for Dean Dewdney who switches to the wing to cover for the injured Tom Shanklin while Darren Crompton replaces Ben Evans at prop in the only other change to the team that lost to the Celtic Warriors.

Cardiff must take maximum points against Edinburgh and hope the Ospreys fail to pick up a single point at Leinster if they are to qualify for next season’s Heineken Cup.

Edinburgh, who have already qualified, are without Marcus di Rollo and Mike Blair though Guy Perry returns after injury.
