OSPREYS v GLASGOW

The Neath-Swansea Ospreys put their 100% winning record on the line at St Helens with four wins out of four so far. However, nothing will be taken for granted as the Ospreys lost the last time they faced a Scottish club – also Glasgow Rugby at Hughenden in May.

The Glaswegians two match winning run came to a halt at home to the Dragons last Friday but at least Glasgow Rugby did win the last time they played at St Helens – 21-13 against Swansea RFC in the Celtic League in September 2001.

Each team won its respective home match when they clashed last season in the Celtic League. The Ospreys’ captain and first-choice hooker Barry Williams says that his table-topping team must be wary of complacency against Glasgow.

‘We’ve started better than we dreamed having won our first four games, but we must keep our form going as we build towards the Heineken Cup,’ Williams told BBC Sport Wales. ‘We are facing a couple of banana skins now, some games which on paper we should win. The boys must make sure they are right for the challenges ahead.’
