Outstanding fly-half Jamie Davies, the highest points scorer in the club’s history, went over himself and converted 11 of the 12 tries – the last rebounding off the cross bar in injury-time.

Two tries from Llandovery wing Emyr Evans were not enough to save his side from a 31-15 defeat at Bedwas, where the home side gained five tries and Andrew James converted three.
