CELTIC LEAGUE RETURNS THIS WEEKEND

Club graphic

Friday sees three games with The Borders travelling to Rodney Parade to face the Newport Gwent Dragons in the first game. The Dragons remain unbeaten at home in the league this season while the Borders have yet to win away. This is the second of four games on the road for the Scottish side – and the Dragons will fancy the chance to stay ahead of the Llanelli Scarlets (who have a bye week) in the Welsh pecking order.

There are also two Ireland v Scotland clashed on Friday with Connacht travelling to Edinburgh and Glasgow going to Ravenhill to face Ulster. This will be Ulster’s first home game since the first week of the year and they will be hoping that the return home will bring an improvement in their fortunes after three defeats in both the league and Heineken Cup.

With the Rugby Aid game, which features several Celtic League stars, at Twickenham on Saturday afternoon there is only one game on Saturday with Munster looking to keep up the chase on The Neath Swansea Ospreys when they face Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park.

On Sunday the leaders face Leinster with the Ospreys hoping to inflict a fourth league defeat in their last five games which will keep them well clear at the head of the table.
