Robert Yeman, the WRU’s Director of Match Officials said “We are delighted that Nigel Owens’ performances have earned him recognition by the IRB and appointment to their international B Panel. We wish him all the very best in his first Test match and hope that this appointment will be the first of many. We are also delighted that our two other international referees have also been rewarded for their recent performances with further international appointments.”

Les Peard and Jim Daily have been awarded appointments as referee’s advisors.
