Cardiff were held up by a battling Newbridge at the Welfare Ground before coming through to a 26-19 win. Tries for the Blue and Blacks came from hooker Ryan Price, wing Nick Gill and replacement No 8 Adam Powell. Chris Anderson kicked a conversion and a penalty hat-trick. Newbridge tries were scored by forwards Paul Watkins, Anthony Willkshire and Craig Blunsden and two converted by Ross Watts.


Carmarthen Quins led 21-12 at Llandovery, but the Drovers hit back to win 22-21 with tries by Tom Walker, Dorian Williams and Emrys Evans. Simon Daniel, on loan from Waunarlwydd converted two and placed a late penalty.  The Quins scored tries by Gareth King, Gareth Williams and Marc O’Kelly, al converted by Aled Thomas.



Tonight, Neath meet Bedwas and Cross Keys play their ast home game against Aberavon, who include the former Wales lock James Griffiths from Trebanos.
